my 06 TBSS has over 100k on it now - i aint worried - my 04 srt4 has 75k - my wifes 03 WRX has 95k - and i just bought a 99 subaru forester with almost 160k on it - cars are built "better" these days IMO - only because i think it is almost standard that people drive a lot for work these days....
How much you pay for that forester?

My opinion is this, the newer cars can probably go 200k without a hiccup, but at the same time I wouldn't be surprised when something breaks.

define newer..

im STILL looking for another daily. A4/A6 quattro, 325xi, etc.. but I cant bring myself to seriously consider something with more than 50-60k miles... probably for the better. maybe ill just get a kia

Spoke to my brother-in-law about the car this past weekend. He had the car hooked up from factory and paid $54k for it. He told me a bunch of stuff but what I do remember is that the car has SS suspension, aftermarket exhaust and It has 4 different programs that the car adjusts depending on your driving style. City driving it gets 20-25 MPG's and the best it ran at the track was 12.8 IIRC. He said with the car having over 100k, he thinks itll run low 13's. I would get the car for $6500:dunno:
