And….they didn’t fit so I flipped them. Originally I was going to hold on to the tires and just buy the 1 18” wheel that fits but a guy made me an offer I couldn’t refuse (more than I paid).

I think I’m back to just buying 19” snow tires for stock wheels then snagging something aftermarket for summer.

I used these Nexen Winguard Sport 2 on my GTI, and they were solid for a "performance" type winter tire and far easier on the budget than Blizzaks, etc...

The kuhmo tires blow in snow. I mean it’s fine driving easy but any slushy corners it would push on turn in. I’ll be excited to get real winter tires.

Tire rack reviews mimic how they feel. They’re quiet and ride nice in dry weather but suck in snow and ice. Oh well they were brand new and fine for summer.

I did about the same thing for my Stinger. Just an open ended filter with an adapter on the stock intake tube. Whoosh noises are the result.

Got my snow tires finally put on yesterday. World of difference compared to the shitty no seasons. These are waaaay more planted feeling than any blizzak I’ve had for sure.
