Got some new shoes and no more yelling about my tire pressure.

I think this is going to be a thing. Just need to figure out the best way to get it out of there quickly while still being secure. Just going to keep towing/straps kinda things in there. Less stuff in the cab the better plus cheap mod. Don't think I'll ever have an aux battery.

Other than those swing out storage boxes or those bolt in tool boxes, not sure what you could do. I originally had thoughts of bolting in a 20mm ammo can in the front up against the bed side. "Should" be out of the way and could offer up a ton of storage. I may still do it but we'll see what the under hood can gets me.

I was looking at those but they all look so flimsy and chintzy. I was looking for the same in the case of still having storage when I throw the quad in the bed but still having a tonneau cover for the other 99% of the year but still having storage. redundant redundancy is redundant

Might have to fabricobble something with said ammo cans. :obama:

Yea they seem cheesy as fuck. I saw one at the parts counter at the Chevy dealer. For $200 it seems like you could just rip it right off the truck.

this is much more extreme than im thinking about

but yeah

Three 2" straps
Two dirtbike straps (come in handy for quick light tie downs)
A few bungees
7 pin to 4 pin adapter
Hitch pin
A set of balls :naughty:

I can get more shit in there if I want. Unfortunately my ball mount is too long to fit.

Something that has frustrated me the last few months is trying to load up my mtb either early in the morning or after a late ride and I flat out cannot see my rack. My truck does have a bed light but you have to push a button and twist it in the cab which also turns on the dome light.

I think I spent $15 on everything and it turned out perfect. Just enough light to see but not totally look like a ricer

The switch and lights I used. I have spools of wire but I used about 7’ of red 16g for power and maybe 3’ of black 16g for ground. Also used some split wire loom on everything. I’ve got a few spools of that laying around too. It’s cheap on eBay. Used the trailer plug for my constant 12+. Time will tell on the switch being water proof like it claims.
