Yeah, it's always better to see cars IRL vrs on video. I don't like the front end looks of the MK8 GTI, but that one that Jaime Orr did recently looked good.

The Mk8 has grown on me. Only thing I don’t like is the steering wheel. Looks very economy car ish.

And as with the current Gen I prefer the looks of the GTI over the R as well.

And they switched over to the Twinster system, same system that's in the RS. Fucking Magic Differential is what that is.

But that price on that is NUTS, nearly 50,000lbs. Crazy expensive, wonder what the US price will be.

According to podcasts I’ve listened to with Megan the North American project manager for Golf, Arteon and something else, the price does not transfer directly from pounds and “we will be pleased with the pricing”. So she claims. The MK8 has grown on me, I wasn’t crazy about the Mk7 either coming from a 6, but if you want the new tech and increased power you get used to the looks. The steering wheels have consistently been getting worse since the MK6.

We get the CUV version the "GLA". Which has less HP and is crappier.
