Food / Drink New Taco Bell items

Has anyone tried the new Sangrita Mountain Dew? I've heard the one in Villa Park and Berwyn both have it but haven't been there recently to try it.

My god. The starburst strawberry freeze is like drinking chilled unicorn blood. Its like a pure starburst sugary liquid. What im getting at here is its delicious. That first draw had such a kick. I think i could actually feel my pupils dilate

Also had 2 fiery doritos cheesy crunch gorditas. I dont really consider those a "new" item tho, as ive been doing that since they came out w/ dorito shells. You just had to ask them to do it.

Review sounds excellent. Will get this week.

GrubGrade | Review: Rolled Chicken Tacos from Taco Bell

At a price of $1.99 for 2 Rolled Chicken Tacos, I’d put the value at about average and fails to reach “impressive” status once you start comparing to certain Dollar Cravings Menu items. I’d buy these again and again without much concern over the price since I enjoyed them so much, but I wouldn’t mind them make an appearance on the Happier Hour menu with a special promo price. There have been some hits (Cheesy Gordita Crunch DLT) and some misses (Waffle Taco) in 2014 for Taco Bell, and as the year is winding down it’s great to see such a solid addition to the menu.

Fucking NOMS. Mine were fresh and crispy on the outside and juicy and HOT on the inside (burnt my mouth, even after a 5 minute drive home from TBELL). Spicy ranch is SPOT FUCKING ON and the Guac is good (nothing to rave about.) WOULD eat again.

Along with the Biscuit Taco, Taco Bell is testing a number of menu items featuring fried chicken strips breaded with tortilla chips. The test items include the new Chickstar, which is similar to a Crunchwrap Supreme but with chicken, as well as new GoStrips wraps.

The items are being tested in the Nashville, TN; Flint, MI; and Birmingham, AL markets so Taco Bell can see how customers like them and gauge feedback on the flavor, form, crispy chicken, etc.

The Chickstar features the new crispy chicken strips with tomatoes, cheese, and lettuce plus one of three sauces folded up in a flour tortilla like a Crunchwrap and grilled. The three sauces are Bacon Ranch (er, a sauce and bacon), Mango BBQ, and Buffalo. The price is $3.99 per Chickstar. It's also available in a combo with a Crunchy Taco and a large drink for $5.49.

GoStrips feature a crispy chicken strip with either Spicy Ranch, Mango BBQ, Buffalo, or Jalapeno Honey wrapped up in a flour tortilla and grilled. They're selling for $1.69 a piece.

Other crispy chicken items being tested include the Double Crispy Chicken Quesadilla, Crispy Chicken Soft Taco, and Crispy Chicken Fiesta Taco Salad, which are all like their regular menu counterparts but with fried crispy chicken strips instead beef or grilled chicken.
