I think its cool. I don't like the way it makes the tailgate look when closed, but I do like the functionality.

People can laugh all they want...but it has been convenient as hell having the step in my tailgate on my F150.

It’s clunky as hell to use that’s why I ask how tall he is. I’ll just climb up there, not worth fiddling with. Plus males tailgate accessories dumb because the gate is so thick

I don't know...maybe older F150's were different, but my 2018, I literally push a button and it pops out (takes 1 second). I don't use the handle (I don't know why you need the handle), but the step has been very useful.

Yea......2018 is the model year I’m familiar with. Not worth using. Like waiting for an elevator in a 2 floor building. Just use the stairs.
