  1. Clean the MAF sensor.
  2. Inspect all vacuum and PCV hoses, replace/repair as required.
  3. Inspect all hoses and connections in the air intake system.
  4. Inspect and/or test the intake manifold gaskets for leakage.
  5. Check for a dirty fuel filter and proper fuel pressure.
P0300 - Could be plug wires, plugs, coils, or caused from the lean code.

Was going to post this. 171 (and 174) lean codes are most likely a post-maf leak. P0300 is most likely the byproduct of of the 171.
