This one is big. Go into any section of the site, we'll use Off Topic for example (and forum section will do). At the topish right, you'll now see a button for "My Threads". Click it, and thank me.

Members can barely search successfully. Do you not see how many times I'm asked to find a thread for someone?

This also does (what I believe) is a FAR better chronological result.

I usually just use the option on the left drop down for my threads which had been quite nice. This just brings it forward to specific sections.

So basically the same as the "find threads" that has always been there? But this one just searches a specific section versus all of your started threads? Correct?

Basically. As alot of you are mostly search a specific section, this makes finding your previous threads way easier.

This makes the search easier.

If people would quit naming their threads things like "The big one", and give them some unusual words/phrases, the threads would be easier to find.

I think thats the crux of the search issue. The way it orders results is frankly shit. The specific thread is probably in the morass of results, but buried on page 30 billion.

Not blaming you, this software is indeed better in many ways. But they totally dropped the fucking ball with their search engine.
