🔧 BUILD New Daily Driver inbound - 2023 Glacier Blue Metallic Colorado ZR2

General Information

Was time for a new daily......so I opted for the refreshed 2023 Colorado as it checked all the right boxes for me.

The order has been placed with Biggers Chevy in Elgin....the order has not been accepted as of yet by GM due to constraints.

ZR2 in Glacier Blue Metallic.

Immediate plans will be:
1. Tint the front glass
2. Pick out some type of tonneau cover
3. Check into the side assist step aftermarket
4. Install stubby antenna so I can get it in the garage
5. Install fancy exhaust tip

Will update as things move along....this is what I ordered.

Just curious if you tried building a ZR2 with the options you wanted, and what that came out to. In Glacier Blue, with leather, AC seats, heated steering wheel, Conv Pkg II, sunroof, high output tune, it came out to $51.2k including destination. And already factory lifted with bronze/black wheels.
Glad to see you made the right choice! It'll be worth more down the road too. So even though you're paying a few grand more now, it'll be worth that same amount more later on.

Hopefully you can still use that black tip on the exhaust! ;) :p

ZR2 production not scheduled to begin until 6/19/23.

What the fuck....this is bullshit.

Huggerorange2024 patience will come into play big time when ordering a new vehicle. I waited 9 mos for my car the process only gets worse when u see someone driving a zr2 before you. Just cause it says 6/19 doesn’t mean yours will get pulled.

Well, looks like GM just updated things yet again....per my dealer:

"I am still showing a production week of 04/17/2023. I don’t know if that will change or not I will just have to keep an eye on it."

Hopefully this is accurate.

FYI my GT500 was scheduled since April it just kept getting pushed back due to commodity hold which is basically parts to certain pkgs in your case it’s something with the zr2 pkg is on hold. Hopefully I’m wrong but that’s how mine kept getting pushed back
