Need New TV. Need Suggestions

Just looked at some TCL 4k roku tv’s again and amazed the prices are the same as 2 years ago

I’ll probably just buy the same one I already have.

I’m not a movie guy but our 65” Hisense is great. Paired it with a 2.1 sound bar and wireless sub setup and it works for me.

One thing I don't like about the Roku TV I just bought is the setup for surround sound. Still haven't looked to much into it, but my last TV, I had the Roku Ultra hooked up and it had the sound pass through to the receiver and I had surround sound via the in ceiling speakers.

With this new TV, since the roku is itself the TV, I have the optical caple connected but I can't control the surround sound volume via the TV remote. At least nothing I've tried (which isn't much yet).

And this TV having issues. Woke up this morning, and turned it on. Bottom 6” of screen is blank. Tried all picture size settings and same shit.

I did have to return my h8g and get an h9g. Much better. I couldn't stand the motion blur on the h8g.

Those looking at the Samsung Q70T 2020 model, it's quite the downgrade over the 2019 model. Only thing it has going for it is the 2.1 hdmi.

If you want to deal with green toe you should be able to get an 55" H9G for about 670 shopped.

Also the HDR seems noticeably better on the H9g over my 2019 Q70. Is that because of dolby vision?

I read the same thing, the Samsung QLED 2020 “T” models weren’t as good as the 2019 “R” ones. I have a Q60R and wished at the time I had got the Q70R.

My next will be an LG CX OLED.

I went with the Q70R to get the full array backlighting. I've been happy with my choice and I started looking at the Q70T. No full array backlighting, lower refresh rate, I think I read the speakers are better though ?. I guess it's been selling out because of the 2.1 HDMI port. You have to step up to the Q80T to get all the features last year's Q70R had.

I was going to get a Q70T, ended up just going with a refurb Q70R because of all the reviews on how the new model was worse and the Q80T was more comparable to the Q70R. Samsung seems to be going backwards.
