Alright, the car is back to how ive been driving it for the past 10,000 miles.
FYI it costs me $280 to go 1000 miles. Nice huh?

So, this morning I made a tune that leans the base fuel table out 15%
What do the short trims do??? They add 30% now....from the normal 20 (when the engine is cold.

If the car is idling hot, the trims are close to zero.
Where it chugs between 2100-2600 the short trims are adding 5-15%

This makes no sense.
I think my next approach will be to make a tune where it runs in open loop at all times to take the O2 sensors completely out of the equation.

Im 99% sure this problem has finally been solved.

After ignoring the advice from my long time Ford Tech friend, I finally put the stock converter pipes back on.

Drove it to work today and its smooth, quiet and doesnt stink.
Fuel trims looked normal when datalogging.

Un friggin believable.

Well, it just goes to show you, it's always something--if it ain't one thing, it's another...."
