I’m literally sitting on the side of the highway right now. Looking to spend under 25, 30+mpg only requirements. Car will see roughly 20k miles a year so must be reliable and cheap maintenance.

Hyundai Veloster, good powertrain warranty, a little more fun
Honda Accord, it’s an accord
Toyota Camry, it’s a Camry
Volkswagen Golf or Tiguan for a little class

Toyota/Honda. Drive the wheels off it while doing basic maintenance.

Camry if you really need something with decent MPG. Highlander if you want something a little more roomy although mine gets like 24mpg highway if I'm lucky.

If you go with an accord and want 30+mpg, you will have to go with a 1.5 turbo which has a cvt. 2.0 turbo gets you the 10speed auto, but you wont get 30mpg.

I am a lexus fan sure but these cars a bullet proof.

I've been scoping out used LS460's since my friend got his. Great highway cruiser and not losing much in the way of MPG vs my G37. But that hat GS350 is niiiiiiice. (y)

Newer Mazda 6? Mazda and Lexus have some of the best reliability in the last 5 years. Kia is normally quite high, bad beat on the optima.

MK7 GTI, just never own it without an warranty
I would 100% suggest this, get an 18 or 19 GTI with the 6 year 72k warranty or whatever they offered after dieselgate, bonus if it is certified. Quite the fun daily and awesome gas mileage

I'm sure Kensington could expand lol
