Need a stickier tire for the street - ET street or NT05(r)

The NT05R's should be good for you. I don't remember you driving your car all to much on the street. If you do, they do wear very quick. Just ask GT5.0Face. He had them on his GTO for a short time due to wearing out fast.
The 555's I liked on the street but were junk on the track.

if these tires last 5-7k miles then that could be 2-3 years for me.

i thought about the MT street comp but noticed that the cooper zeon Rs3-S is very very similar and has the same ratings on wear etc....

On one of the Mustang sites they had a long thread about how they looked very similar. Last I checked people who ran both liked the M/T over the Coopers. Now that the roads are getting cold when I leave for work I have to watch myself until I get some heat in the tires. They track straight but slip pretty easily. That I guess is with most tires in the cold though.

Softer compound tires are much worse though. It's like driving on ice with the tires on my s2000 in the morning.

I don't drive it too much, but maybe ill go back to a 555r then. I at least want a couple seasons outta them. Ill see when I decide to put in that order.
