Most guys take a 5cyl pan from a colorado and extend it, another way is to chop the 6cyl pan and build a sheet metal sump. Extended 5cyl pickup is used in both. Here’s some pics I stole from the group

Trailblazer LS mounts are kinda goofy looking to make it fit, I’ve bought a few of them to flip because most junkyards don’t realize they’re alum block and you can find them for cheapLS was in TrailBlazer with this so I'd you had LS body side for c10 conversion with stock 4.2 engine side that might work?
I have no idea what the stock 4 speed was as it wasn’t original, this is a 4.2 from a trailblazer with an ar5 5 speed from a ColoradoFor a C10 that should probably be an sm326. that is definitely not an sm326.
looking good.
I was bound and determined to get the damn thing. Side story, ended up buying a brand new 20’ 10k trailer on a Wednesday, left on that Friday at like 3am. Get to Des Moines IA and trailer starts acting fucky, first time I tap the brake rear axle shifts back and destroys fender, tire, and trailer is dog tracking about 3 feet to the passenger side of my truck. Axle U bolt broken… called and bitched at trailer company I bought it from. They got me on the line with corporate and I ended up dropping off the trailer 20 minutes away at a dealer after I took off the rear wheels so it would haul straight. Drove to Denver empty that night and they hooked me up with a 20’ 14k in Denver the next morning for no extra charge. Ironbull customer service is on point
