Minor update, parts acquired at the shop. Going to target dropping off my car next Friday so they can start pulling the current motor out and putting in the new one. Here is a pic of the manifold which will make Mook happy that I’ll no longer have a cast manifold.

I just dropped the Supra off at the shop. Motor is ready to go in. If I hadn’t said before this motor is practically brand new with about 500 miles on it. Should take very little time to get it in my car and tuned. Hoping to have more updates as things progress. Note the turbo manifold is not being used in my car as this came out of the old car. Motor is capable of making 1600whp but we’re shooting for a reasonable 1200whp.

Speaking of the manifold, I think I’ve seen a few times you complaining of it. It’s a cast manifold, right?

I’ve been looking at going cast for my NA-T setup. Everyone says it doesn’t sound as good, but it can support big power and without the worry of cracks or placement issues. Any issue with yours?
