i want this pic in my avatar. if i try to upload from computer, it ways invalid file, if i try from photbucket like i have with several other avatars, it says Upload failed due to failure writing temporary file. what am i to do? Admin? :tear:

I had the same problem, mine wouldnt load. I was told it was because the file was to big. Can you shrink it down some how??

i have had that particular error in the past, this time is not that issue, im getting the errors list above...

Maximum dimensions for your avatar is 170x170 pixels. The size limit is 220kb.

I don't believe that there's any automatic resizing function when uploading images for your avatar, so you'll have to resize them yourself through something like Photoshop.

vbulletin will resize non gif images unless it cant somehow connect to a direct internet link vs. uploading from you computer

if you upload an image from your computer, vbulletin will automatically resize it to the proper 170x170 (there might be a quality drop however).

sometimes, if u choose to use a direct link upload option, which is given, vbulletin has an issue downloading that image, as ive experience in the past.
