Looks awesome! I'll be you're excited. :bigthumb:

He's got my transmission and my new expensive converter, as soon as thats done mine will go back together as well! Spring is here, and I want to hear turbo noises!

Yah it will be fun to finally have it back someday. Will be a totally new beast.

Just hoping all this custom stuff plays out like planned.

He has the Whipple trans too refreshing it and fixing a few problems it had
in the original build which should wake it up some as 3rd gear was always a problem for me.

Looks good! Jealous of that kit. Dave does great work all around. Mine is so much simpler in comparison.

I have actually been driving the heck out of mine. I wonder how that’s going to spool up? I am mostly on the street with mine. I’m glad I waited for the good converter from precision and had Dave do some cool things with putting in a 3.29 gear set. Gives me back some low end. I do wish it’d be in boost lower in the RPM range. Maybe need something smaller than a 68. But I like the top end I get.

Looking forward to seeing some track passes!

I am hoping the spool isn't horribly bad. Size wise, its similar to what
ZZP / Intense ran years ago but "better" ....

This will hardly ever see street use if ever again so not to worried about it
for street driving.

Apparently the old school GN 3.8 guys seem to enjoy it enough.

Oh I’m sure it’ll be fine. I have no problem building boost at the line. It’s just normal driving or rolling into it that you see the lag. But really with the good converter and the gears, once you get into it you aren’t waiting around for boost. It revs quick. Though, for reference, I’m on an ST2 cam. Dave knows my car is on the street more than the track and I cancelled my big cam order after talking with him. Big turbo, big stall, and a big cam would have made in town driving awful. You’re on an ST5? Or the ST6? Not sure I remember. What AR housing did you go with?

STR6 cam... so same cam the ZZP drag car runs.

.81 AR housing
