So I mean... I just need to take a drive in my truck this afternoon and post a video. The exhaust note and turbo sounds make the purchase worthwhile by themselves.

Hooking up a trailer and doing truck things with it only makes it even better.

I do need to hunt down why the truck is only getting 14mpg right now tho.

yeah. it sounds neat. and if you can reason the diesel nuances, cost, and issues for the sound. more power to ya.

I guess we should also reiterate NEWER deezuls since that was the point of Frank's original post, not putting miles on his newer deezul. We all know 7.3s are god's gift to humanity but the bigger issue is finding a decent 7.3 specimen from what I've seen and heard.

ii don't really care what you own.

you own a diesel because you work on them daily, and can repair them easily because you have the knowledge, tools, and parts suppliers.

Nuances? Like what? Waiting to start it? Plugging it in during winter months? Otherwise, it pretty much acts just like a normal truck!

my original statement and mindset for why i said to eagle, was gas trucks from the past 10-15 years are plenty reliable, powerful, and efficient.
