Motorcycle accident takes a young kid

Shit's sad, and way too common. As long as my kid lives with me the only sportbike riding he'll be doing is on the track. Until you're an expert there, you have no business on the street.

Any unskilled noob can buy a bike capable of hitting 160+ for dirt cheap, recipe for disaster. My parents let me buy a sportbike when I was 19 & living with them, and in retrospect they really shouldn't have. Turned out OK though, I sold it 4 months later when I got arrested on it :LOL:

Sad event. Sounds like an unfortunate accident.

Looking at the photo it looks like a cruiser or standard with bullet nose fairing. Could have been doing 30mph, hit the soft shoulder, then lost control and just landed wrong. It doesn't take much.

I saw someone lose it at 20mph and hit a guardrail, no helmet. Was deceased before they stopped rolling down the embankment.
