3k seems high. I know it’s DSG vs manual but I do 75 at 25-2600.

I'm at 2800rpm @ 75mph in the RS.

The flaps are always open in Sport. They are closed when cruising in D but will open when you hammer the throttle.

GTI, TT, TTS, R/S3 all have different ratios, most are close, but still wtf

Cant have a 1 size fits all that would reduce repair bills. Everything has to be specific to one model.

Cool! I just picked up a new leftover ‘19 GTI. The electronic cabin sound is the worst.

Mother Fucking FINALLY

Went out and made ONE pass today and finally broke into the 11s. I changed nothing from the last time I went out. In fact, MPH and 60ft were almost identical yet I set a new 1/4 record AND got a killer 0-60. This is still on my junk all seasons. I should be able to get into the 11.8x range on the summer tires. MAYBE 11.7x with a splash of e85.

VW highly underrates their engines...Golf R's have seen around 300whp stock, AWD, and only 3300 pounds...they move out.
