i never claimed to never ever miss gears.

and we can all agree the 2-3 is the hardest in a cobra... even if you think shifting a cobra is EASY.. 2-3 is still the LEAST easiest :)

Didn't you miss 3rd gear in your one and only Cobra run???

The only run on video? Ive driven his car and beat the fuck out of it plenty of times.. he can vouch how i shift ;)

Don't they make aftermarket shifters for it yet? It's a sloppy piece of shit on the M3, 6 Series and 135i.

Yeah, there's some short throws out there around $250-$300. Maybe I'll pick one up next season. I really don't understand why the throw is so sloppy. I thought maybe it was just me, but after seeing people do it today, seems like this thing has a problem with hard shifts.

Wow.....already have doubters.....I had several mustangs....2-3 sucks sometimes...but the right shifter like steeda tri ax and a newbie cant miss 3rd.....

We all went out today and beat on a lil M3 Coupe....I have to admit the shifters suck ass.....and no power shifting either, it is just not do-able in these cars....Im sure if you pick up a good shifter the sloppy throws will go away.....but I never hit the rev limiter ;)

LoL, you came pretty damn clase, but we weren't weavint in and out of traffic in winfield either! BTW, you're nuts, and I'm never riding with you again. Watch out for those train tracks! And no, I'm not talking about the rev limiter in this car, talking about hitting the rev limiter in my car while racin around with riski.

2-3 Shift on any T-56 with a Cable clutch is very hard, especially in a faster than normal car, where the RPM's fly.

I am used to it now, but occasionally miss the 2-3 shift when power-shifting.

I thought BMW's were so refined, and easy to drive. Guess not.
