Mid engine, supercharged, rwd for under $10K?

I just discovered this vehicle in some Hoovie reviews and thought it was funny that it was a mid engine, supercharged, rear wheel drive that you can buy for under $10K. Back in the day, I wouldn't have given this vehicle a 2nd look.

What vehicle could this be, you ask?

Hoovie only paid $2,400 for his. They're double/triple that online. Nice deal for him.

Toss on a pulley and tune along with an intake/exhaust? That would be fun.
