Exactly how i felt about kbm controls.It's unpleasant to play with the keyboard and very difficult to make smooth control inputs. You need a dedicated stick.
On the keyboard, trying to move the rudder smoothly is impossible. Pushing the rudder key is like stomping the rudder pedal with full force.
I have a game controller with two sticks that would be perfect for this, but it doesn't "recognize" it.
It is the game. Articles are coming out today with others talking about how CPU bound this game is and its even bottlenecking 9900k's which is a feat. They really will need to put out a patch. Anything short of a top tier system is getting like 15-20FPS. Thats less than xbox360 at 720p framerates. This is embarrassing for MS at this point. They didnt even put it out with DX12. Its DX11 only. What year is this???I noticed what I think is something similar but figured that just may be how it works. Just a snapshot when CPU was at 100 percent but GPU was 34. Updated drivers beforehand too. I seemed to get a ton of initial lag, which cleared up after letting everything load and settle. Still took a lot of time to get to a sport where it was playable. Interesting that it might be the game and not hardware, which I didn’t consider.
Right click on the desk top, go to nvidia control panel and under 3D settings, click the configure surround, PhysX. Under PhysX settings, switch from auto to your video card. This should put more load on your video card
