Many times I've wondered how 2WD trucks or even FWD cars/CUV's can pull out some of those larger boats and trailers. I know the tongue weight helps, but still... On a slippery surface? I'd have some serious pucker factor going 100% of the time.

hell, I get concerned even with my 4WD truck and A/T tires that I know have bite. Almost wish some ramps had embedded anchor points where you could attach a strap or winch just in case. Granted you'd have to know how long to let the cabling go before you're balls deep in water. But at least you'd know it wouldn't go any further.

Think about the 1940s - 1980s where folks commonly towed their boats with cars. They made it work with RWD cars, some with single wheel peel.

I'm putting an addition on a building for a guy now that has some toys. I'm not real sure what he was driving the other day, but it's badass. 1940-50's Chevy wagon pulling an old wooden boat. Him and his wife were heading a half hour away to go skiing in the morning. I'll have to try and snag a picture if I see it again.

See if it is a Chris-Craft. I've always wanted one, a 1940's or 1950's model (Sportman, Runabout, etc), will never be able to afford one.

So, not Miami, but bye bye GMC

@29 seconds ?

He had all four tires in the water and was going back and forth . He obviously has no experience backing in a boat . It’s also crazy that he was even that far in just to launch that little boat .

If you zig zag like that you really need to practice driving in reverse on flat land while hooked up to the trailer . I also aleays put my boat in the water while in 4wd just to be safe .
