He loved the sign...and then I ended up with a damn rabbit. I told him I couldn't make anything else for him if I'm gonna end up with animals afterwards, haha
whats wrong with getting dinner out of it?

I love the we had made for the office. I have to order some for the garage now.
Lemme know! We have time at work currently.

I need to build myself some stuff so I can test out some theories. The backlit sign that Mook has gave me the idea to make shadow box type displays

Bump! Just started a LLC and bought a laser engraver. Super excited, but the lead time to get the damn thing is like the middle of July. I have so much anxiety about this, but I'm super excited to try engraving Yeti cups and things like that!

I must throw some business your way when you get the laser engraver. I have many ideas..... ;)
Let me know. It'll take a bit to get good at it, but I've been talking about this for 6 years or something now. I finally pulled the trigger

tube/prism i take it?

been looking at how much 1kw fiber heads and down have gotten....toss it on our Cartesian printers chassis type thing....

but the more i work with this stuff (wj/3d printing/laser) the more im convinced the best machine would be a 6/7 axis arm with an EOA Tool changer.

too much bloody crap in the world isnt flat

Yeah, it's a 60W tube laser. We have a 2kw fiber at work. They have been talking of upgrading to an 8kw, but I don't see that happening any time soon. Getting a tube cutting laser in a month which is going to be awesome.

I don't mind the flat side of things, it should be a good hobby to pick up at home to make some extra cash...at least here's hoping!

Awesome, I love the signs you made for me. I just realized I never posted pics of them. They all came out great!

I’ll be hitting you up for more for sure!

what kind is that? Auto height control? I just sold my k40, was so sick of dealing with height issues.
AP Lazer. No auto height control, the laser itself doesnt actually have a bottom, the bottom is on a cart basically that adjusts up and down
