Went to MMR HQ earlier this Sept. and we watched one of the big bad boys being hand built. The cylinder head is larger than the block it bolts onto.
The 1150, 1350, and 1650 are the QC4V motors. They're twin turbos.
Apparently, MMR has now looked to adapt the DOHC cylinder head design and has bolted it to an LSx SBC block. Entirely new. We didn't see this when we were up there. It's a bit of the 2Gen LT-5 approach. It's currently a concept but holy smokes. Somebody making DOHC heads for a Gen4 SBC! Wow.
