So my race suit is a bit beat up...paid $400 for it 4 years ago so the time has come to upgrade. I definitely got my money out of it and will keep it as a spare in case I ever decide to ride/race in the rain.
Couple weeks ago a custom suit manufacturer I've been eyeing since spring announced a killer sale. Spoke to the owner of their US business and he said there's a big audit by the EU (where the suits are manufactured) every 10ish years and theirs is at the end of this year, so they're trying to clear out inventory and buy new stuff in 2020. The more inventory they have, the more costly and difficult the audit is. So a kangaroo leather suit that would normally cost $2200+ is only about $1400....sign me the hell up. It's also airvest compatible in case I decide to go that route. Guys that have crashed with an airvest swear by them.
BEST part: It's all custom fitted and I can pick any design I want
Lo and behold. BTW if you don't like it IDGAF
