Entire ruling is trash because it's going to get overturned by the SCOTUS. Connecticut supreme court should be ashamed of themselves.

Otherwise... Car manufacturers, hammer manufacturers, knife manufacturers, decorative rock manufacturers, etc. could all get sued when someone uses one of their products to hurt/kill.

They're allowing the ruling to be overturned because of the advertising, essentially. They're basically saying Adam Lanza was "groomed" into killing because of Remington's ads featuring military personnel and using the word "missions". As well as saying that these weapons are "fit only for police and military and should never be in our subjec- I mean civilian hands" paraphrasing, of course.

They're trying using the 1st amendment to attack the 2nd amendment, yet again.

I just saw this. Absolutely ridiculous!! This opens the floodgates for people suing alcohol, automotive, and any manufacturer that made something that someone was killed with.

Do gun manufactures have to put disclosures on websites, please use responsibly?

There should be some kind of limit on how many times a judge can be overruled by a higher court. Might make them more amenable to following the law instead of tossing out rulings that they know will be overturned.

If the judge had to face a recall election every three overturns, for instance, they'd be less likely to make rulings that aren't based in solid law.

We should add the number of times a judge has been overturned to their election ballots. John Smith - overturned 12 times, for instance, would get a lot more no votes than Sue Jones - overturned 0 times.

have to wonder if the ruling judge really believed in what they were passing, or just did not want their name on it that they said no, so they rule in favor knowing its going to get overturned so they do not "sully their good name".

I've said that 100's of times!!!
There has to be a way to track how many times these judge for life losers don't follow the law as written!!!
Pushing your agenda on America is not what a judge is paid to do.
The law as written, even if outdated, not your beliefs, not what your "SPONSOR'S" want you to rule.
The law as written, and let the powers that be fix obvious mistakes, outdated issues, not a judge that has no business forcing their beliefs on anyone.
HINT HINT rbg!!!!!!
