lol I am a weird one. Recently sold my camaro but had that, my cobra and slowly have been collecting parts to build a LSX foxbody.

Unfortunately I do not have the cam. I'm sure I could find one on craigslist for cheap though. I like the lamp idea!

I'd imagine you would need one helluva bit and some way to drill dead on straight tho. Or take it to a machine shop to throw on a lathe

It doesn't have to be that straight either. Wire bends. Just has to be a big enough hole for the wire.

The cam to the left in my pic of 3 is a 3.1/3.4 from my old grand am. I actually like that one better than the ls that I've made.

This is correct. I bought a pair of modular Ford cams to make lamps out of and found out the hard way that they are solid. Guess it depends on the engine
