3800 Machined intake manifold for IC...yes or no..

I was wondering if I should get one of those machined intake manifolds for when I put the BTK intercooler on.....???????

I though I remebered a few of you guys not agreeing on this...

If the intercooler core is similar in size to the ZZP blower (which I beleive it is) then yes, you will benefit from a longer opening.

If you give me the dimensions, I will cut you one and you can just give me your old one back after install.

I have cutting wheels, polishing stones, grinding discs and all that good stuff. To my knowledge, no one is CNC cutting these intakes, just cutting them out by hand and then polishing them clean.

tests are completed on the stocker, testing will begin when the modified one is installed

youll get a TON more air in once you open it up. but you may lose some boost, which can be made up for with a pulley change.
