As the LT style TR6060 become more ready available, more people might want to explore the option of using it in a swap.

I happen to have both LS and LT style in my garage, do here's a comparison.

LS and LT TR6060 shifter height different - (LT is the shorter one on the right)
For anyone that cares, there is a height difference between the shifter location in LS and LT tr6060. Roughly 2.5 inches. Not the easiest to get good pics with no help ?.

Complete shifter assembly does not seem to be interchangeable, unless you swap out the while tail housing. You can probably use just the middle dog bone if you solid mount the shifter base to the chassis.

The bell housing is different casting, with different air vents, bolt pattern is the same.

The LT uses a 3 wire hall effect speed sensor (good with the term X), the LS uses a 2 wire vss (good with 411 pcm)

Shameless plug - I m selling the taller LS3 style off a 2010 SS, the easiest to convert to a magnum if needed.
