Yup. That’s the goal. Powdercoat the stock wheels gloss black, or maybe anthracite, lower, purple wrap, black out any remaining chrome including exhaust tips, front splitter, trunk lid spoiler, tune, done.

Gloss black wheels = mucho scratches. No matter how careful you are cleaning them.

What do you recommend?

if you are going to Crown customs, they have their house blend " hyper" black in 3-4 variations of darkness. If you wanted to go with something that was charcoal or gunmetal metallic.

Matte black looks okay, but they can not be "fixed" only redone. I would go with satin before matte.
