So..... Ordered a pizza from Lou's and picked it up. When I grabbed the box it felt "light" as anyone knows the box usually feels like it weighs 10lbs, is was light enough for me to open it and take a peek, saw what looked to be the correct pizza so I took it home. well opened it up and the disappointment was real.

Nope, this was their normal big dog pizza, I called and complained and got fed the corporate , "in order to help our consumers" blah blah blah. needless to say this is the last time I order from them.

Did you do anything over social media? I imagine they'll come running when you blast it on social media. Seems to work better than contacting customer service unfortunately.

Nah, I don't do the whole social media thing. I definitely agree that this seems to be the way nowadays to get things like this handled, unfortunately.

Is it a small carry out only location like the one on Barrington? If so that may be the issue as we have never ever had an issue at the Schaumburg restaurant
Yeah, same deal over in Bloomingdale, I have ordered from the Bloomingdale location a ton, this is the first time for this, but according to the "manager" this is the "new" lou malnatis so.....

There are lou's takeout places in NWI now, I haven't had any issue with the pizza but they are absolutely terrible at sticking to a time. Normally they'll confirm pickup within 20-30 mins and will be 15-30 minutes late to that time. I don't want cold pizza but I also don't want to sit in a bathroom-sized "lobby" for 30 minutes so you're kinda hosed either way

when your only job is takeout and the orders are all online, it should be easy to be semi-accurate with the projected pickup time. You know the backlog when the order is created and you know how long it'll take to make those orders...the fuck
