So I made a thread on what new DD car I should get. This is why...
Last month I was heading back to work and as I headed down the street (which was wet ) a fat ugly fucking possum on the side of the road ran out at the last second. I swerved to avoid it and I slammed on my breaks, without realizing i was still on the gas, and slid across the road, curbed it hard and right in to a parked truck at the local hotel.
About a week and a half ago, the insurance company cut a check for repairs but couldn't make a final determination on the frame until the body shop puts it on the frame rack. So I got the call yesterday that it's not repairable with in it's means and it's considered a total loss. :'(
Needless to say I didn't put much in to the car in terms of mods. So buying it back wouldn't be all to worth it.
It's sad to see a great car go but for every dark cloud they always have a silver lining. In this case a new DD. something obviously more practible than the grand prix.
Had a little fun with the "I'd Cap That App"
