My Buddy Ryan needs some google cameras installed at his house and all setup for him. Looking for someone willing to make a few bucks to do this for him.
Location is Crystal Lake by 31/176
All outdoor cameras(5 of them), he does have some indoor ones to do as well but he said he would do those (I bet he’d still pay you to do those too because he’s a super busy guy).
Shoot me a pm and I’ll send you his contact info.

I’d recommend anything over Nest. They don’t charge for shit when it’s colder than like 30° outside. Always dealing with constant battery drain issues on mine. Beyond frustrating that they even acknowledge the issue, but no resolution.

I’ll let him know but he already opened them all and stuff so I doubt he’ll change.

The biggest thing is I would expect for him to need to be around during setup. Google LOVES linking your account to everything, so he will probably be needed more then once during setup to put in his username and password.

I have never used the google cams, so no other thoughts on the product.

He just informed me they are all setup and charged. Just needs someone to physically mount them all.

The company also says wired installations of the battery-equipped Nest Cam and Nest Doorbell can struggle in the cold—between -4°F (-20°C) and 32°F (0°C)—because they aren't drawing power directly from the line. Instead they run on batteries that are "trickle charged" by the power line. (A Nest Cam that isn't connected to the Wasserstein Solar Panel is the sole exception.)
