The 11-12’s has some issues with the back two cylinders chucking pistons, I’m not sure if it was a cooling issue I know some places had cooling mods for them, other than that the drivetrain is pretty solid, I had a 14 just intake cat delete and tune put me at a 12.4 on the stock tires, auto is definitely the way to go for reliability

All in what you want; Auto (6R80) is stronger but the Manual (MT82) is more fun on the streets.

11 - 14 is a solid car

Some like the 15 - 17 better.

I had an 11 GT Auto, fun car. I currently have a 17 GT manual, also a fun car. Both have different personalities and temperaments when driving.
