You can balance slicks and drag radials. Sometimes it can make a noticeable difference. The issue is with non beadlock wheels. With multiple launches, the tires will move on the wheel. So eventually they would have to be rebalanced.
On a beadlock wheel the tire will not move or will only move a small amount over a lot of launches. So rebalancing the tires isn't needed like on a standard wheel.
But ya, throw them on and try them. If you don't have a bad vibration from an imbalance you should be ok. It really comes down to how out of balance they are and at what speeds you drive at. The more out of balance they are and the higher speeds at which you drive will combine to make the imbalance more noticeable.
