Competition is $420, but on backorder for months. Needed to get back up, and this was on my mind as a "to-do" in the future.

Besides the 35ish lbs weight savings, whats the point? Not being a smart ass, I genuinely want to know.

Yikes, I just put one of these in the bike to save ~5 lbs, but it was only $200. Much easier pill to swallow. I guess it's relative though because the hellcat costs ~4x what the bike does, so an $800 battery sounds about right, lol

FUCK that! No car battery is worth $800!

Now the next question, what about the charging system? That system is made to charge a NiCad, not a LIB.

The factory batteries are heavy at 48 pounds and have only 720 cold cranking amps. The DCR Lithium Battery is a direct fit unit and is only 9 pounds and has 1200 cold cranking amps! Our reserve capacity is 200 versus the factory battery at 140.

From their webpage.

I was going to go with the competition for $420, but the wait time was too long. Specs are great on this and his customer service is good.

I'm also not a fan of stripping cars for ET, so I'll take it where I can with weight loss lol.
