The dubbing on this is fucking atrocious. But episode 1 down, I'm still semi-interested in continuing to watch it to see if it pans out.

So I've watched the first 3 episodes of this. It has all the characters and names and places I know, Kamurocho looks great, but that comes from the benefit of having played thru yakuza 0, kiwami 1 and 2, and yakuza 3 (and I believe I'm partway into 4 somewhere) So I already have a pretty large chunk of this world and its characters floating around in my head. That said, this just doesn't have the same flair the games do, and the way they're telling this story constantly flashing back and forth between 1995 and 2005 is rather annoying. If I hadn't played the games and didn't know who any of these people were I wouldn't care about any of them or what they're doing. Really not sure if I wanna finish the final 3 episodes.
