Who has them??

I have a gear oil question. I working on a scooter from 2007, its a Roketa 150cc. It says Gear oil is 80w/40. I'm having trouble finding it. I found a ton of 80's but they have a higher back number. Example 80w/140. Does anyone know about gear oil on here? Can I use a different one or will I do damage? A lot has change since 2007. I found a 85w/140 on amazon. Can anyone chime in? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

I don't think I've ever seen the second value being smaller than the first. I think it's a typo.

For example my shaft-driven cruiser requires 75W-80 hypoid gear oil (since it's a hypoid gear). Trying to find that is really difficult these days, so I substituted it with 75W-90 and it's fine.

Typo huh, that would explain why I can't find it. Thanks, this really helps out!
