aside from buying store bought, pre made stuff, what do you guys like to make to bring with or when you host a party?

here are some of mine:
- smoked hot wings. stupid simple, pre marinated wings i toss on the smoker for a couple hours.

- crock pot cocktail meatballs:
Ingredients
3lb Bag Fully Cooked Frozen Meatballs
12 Ounce Bottles Chili Sauce
12 Ounce Jar Grape Jelly
12 ounce ketchup
2 tbsp tobasco
2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder

Instructions

1. Add all ingredients together in slow cooker, except meatballs and stir until mixed.

2. add meatballs and stir to coat

3. cook on low for 8 hours, or high for 4 hours.

- Baked Beandip
1 can refried beans
1 brick of cream cheese
8oz sour cream
1/2 package of enchilada sauce mix
20+/- squirts of Tabasco

Mix/beat together well, then pour into pie pan/Pyrex

cover in shredded cheese, i prefer taco mix or just plain cheddar

bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes

serve with chips

that meatball sauce sounds better than the one we always have. I think my mom just uses chili sauce and jelly. I usually get assigned the deviled eggs and sometimes mix in some bacon bits.

My Wife does a taco salad that is phenomenal. Every party we go to it’s requested and always the first appetizer gone. I have rcvd a ton of compliments on my grilled wings. I toss some olive oil on them then rub with a homemade spicy rub. After they come off the grill I leave some the way they are “naked”, toss some in a spicy bbq sauce and the others I heat up a mixture of Franks hot sauce and butter and toss in there.
