I like that I can find 17" 33's for ~400 set from the Rubicon nut swingers.
If that's the case run the balls out of em ? I'm all about whatevers decent for the least amount of money these days.

Used to have a thing for 35" trail grapplers but I don't do alot of playing in the mud anymore other than gettin back and forth to town.

Wild peaks are a good no frills tire. The jeep guys around here really like em because they don't chop on the front end as bad. Since they changed to the at3w I've only seen one set wear prematurely and that was only a borderline case of it. The problem is Falken knows it and they've slowly but surely turned the price up to match.

Ended up going with the Falkens because it's about all I could get my hands on. Got them mounted today so really don't have an impression yet.

I’m ready for a new set of tires on my Ram 2500, I have gone through a set of KO2’s and a set Vy of DuraTracs. I like the KO2’s as I have had 5 sets in the past between 2 trucks, was not a fan of the DuraTracs having only got about 40kmiles, terrible wet weather traction. They were good in the snow though. So now I’m wanting to try something different, I don’t want as an aggressive tread. Was thinking General Grabbers or Toyo’s

I went looking for my Wrangler All Terrain Adventures just in case I had to replace them. Still have good ratings, but the price per tire went from $220 to $285. So, might not be getting them for the third time. They're not triple-peak rated, but I'm not usually in situations that call for it. Few hundred pounds of ballast in the back across the axle and the tires do a commendable job.

Finally decided on a new set of tires and went with Nitto Terra Grappler G2’s. Still somewhat of a aggressive tread but less that the DuraTracs were. Only have a couple hundred miles on them so far so not much to review besides they look really good in my opinion. Are quiet and ride really nice, but then again I as coming off a set of DuraTracs. Sorry for dirty truck pics….. went with 305/55/20

bump, trying to decide what tire to go with since the Toyo Open Country AT IIIs seem to be on back order for the last year
Ko2’s man. Great in snow, look the part and the best part is quietness. I also dig the general grabber atx or at3 but have only owned the older at2’s

Duratracs look rad but they don’t stay very quiet.

They're quiet in comparison to M/T's, but yeah, if you want the most quiet, the Ko2's are solid. I'd call it a wash between the Duratrac and Ko2 in the snow though, at least from my experience.

Duratracs are good in snow, never said they weren’t. Just saying they’re way louder way quicker than ko2’s. My old ko2’s on the Tahoe only really got loud after 30k or so. I did get them used and they were done by then. I have a friend who’s gone thru a few sets on his jeep and then f150 and keeping up on rotations he got like 50k on them.

There’s a discount tire only baby duratrac looking tire he’s running now on his new f150. So far so good and he drives like 20k a year.

Venom power x/t's, theyre cheap, look decent, get around well in mud and snow and I've got over 40k on mine with at least half of it bein trailer miles and there's probably still a good 6 or 7/32 in em. Lil whiny on the highway but for the money they're just as good as any of the more expensive stuff.

I had duratracs on my frontier and got 63K out of them. Probably could have squeezed a few more miles out of them but I needed to get the alignment done ( steering rack was replaced years earlier ).
I have always thought about the BFGs, how are they in the rain ?
I like the Grabbers. I would probably choose them over the DT exclusive Wrangler Ultra terrain

Would not go with the Ridge Grapplers, they look too smooth for rain. I'm mainly cruising on streets that are 45 mph plus and highways.
The Toyos have been great on previous trucks but they are MIA
