Hey Guys,

I thought this past cruise, even though small, was a success and was a lot of fun. While brainstorming where we could cruise to next Kankakee River State Park popped up and really looks like a decent destination. I think some decent pictures could be had here as well as looks like a beautiful spot to get out and stretch the legs after the cruise!

Please let me know your thoughts or suggestions!

Tentative plan:

2:30pm Meet at Spring Hill Mall Parking Lot (This was a good central location for this past cruise)

1072 Spring Hill Ring Rd, West Dundee, IL 60118 (Parking Lot where the old Sears used to be)

Start Cruise at 2:45pm

Meet 1quick 1quick along the route @ Shell

Address: Shell, 3195 E Division St, Diamond, IL 60416

Continue Driving to Destination

I'm tentative for being at my dad's that weekend. If not, I'll go.

That section of 102 was recently repaved, so nice and smooth, and if IIRC 113 on the south side of the river was done as well. I have a friend in Lockport and we'll ride into Wilmington to eat at the Launching Pad, then run 113 into Kankakee and come back up 102. Sometimes stopping at the park to walk around.

Another side note... I've actually ridden my bicycle through there. From the Kane Country Forest Preserve building on Laraway (Joilet), all the way down to the river, then down 102 to the park. It's about 60-65 miles round trip.
