Flooded the countertop with the 2nd coat yesterday. Man I wish we already knew the lessons learned from the bar before we did it. The counter top came out amazing. I almost hate to cut into it for the sink. Also I picked up a sample of stain for the bar trim and cabinets. Also installed some half round trim as a rail for bottles behind the bar.

Finished off the last of the epoxy. The bar rail was a huge pain in the ass because the epoxy runs like no other and the rail contours down hill… Stained the back of the bar and plan to stain the cabinets tomorrow or Saturday. I bought all the piping for mounting the shelves. I also decided fully on paneling for the wall behind the the bar. I need to make one last run to Menard’s for paneling, a couple 1x10’s for shelves and stain for the shelves. Hoping to wrap everything up this month and order stools. The sink will have to be addressed later in the year.

I've had him make a few signs for me. He does great work. No cunts shit though since you can't burn metal.
I asked him to engrave a few knives for me. Hid old "first" laser didn't work on the handles, but did an excellent job on the blades. The newer one he was talking of getting (I think he did get) was supposed to correct that. Haven't really heard from him since though. Have a hot tub he was interested in.

For your wall. You mentioned wood. May I suggest old pallets. They can be had free or really cheap and look amazing. Here’s my wall.

Your wall looks fantastic. For easy of install I decided to go with a shiplap paneling. It will be most covered by shelves and bottles anyways. Some of the new paneling looks really good.

How big of a hole is gonna be for the sink?

Save the cut wood for a flight tray, or snack serving board.
A single basin sink. That's a good idea for sure. I do have some left over red wood for flight trays but the cut out will be perfect size for a serving board.
