Any of you lawn dudes use a torch to get rid of weeds? I’m not talking about in your grass. But in between cracks in the concrete or in landscaping that’s all rocks
No, but…

so like how much
$47 per application so just over $325 for the year, but I would also need the viney weed program to hopefully clear up the creeping charlie, which is another $26 per application.

I mean I guess its not terrible realistically, I'm just trying to compare to maybe doing the Scotts program or something maybe?

My bigger concern is with the dogs now and I'm waiting to hear back from them how long they would need to be off the lawn after each application.

Yes. I use it at both houses with pretty much stellar results. Before them I had Tru-green/Chemlawn and yes, they were cheaper, but no where near these results... Particularly the West Chicago house which two/three years ago was a weed farm and dead in many spots. Now, the grass is weed free and grows so damn thick/fast, even my tractor has a tough time getting through it making me have to go over it twice.

My Sons' foot after 3 days growth before he mowed (taken in the area right next to the Trans Am in the pics above... Notice not a weed in sight)

Then here is the Elgin casa. I still have issues here, but I think the biggest issue (and why it's not coming along as quick as the other house did, it it has a thin grass blanket with clay under it);

Hard to argue with those pictures.

Oh another pic. This is in front of the WeGo house. Up until a few years ago, there was a sugar maple in front of the house (you can see the hole where is used to be directly in front of the house). This tree was taken down in a storm, falling on the house. But I digress...

This front portion right in front of the house had ZERO grass and what was there was weeds.... It was all dirt. Look at it now after Weiss (as well as no longer being in the shade).

Yes. But he is confined to the back yard here in Elgin and I don't have them do that other than mosquito treatment (so we can survive back there).

I will say, they always hit our house in the 8 - 9 am hours in the morning. So by that time, he is in for the day as we've left and he won't go out again until the evening when we get home, which by then any liquid stuff is dry. The stuff they use in the front yard is granules though.

So, I can give you the address in a PM and you can go do the street view. This was just as I started the program. But you can cleanly see the weeds still in the yard, particularly the tree bank area. And then compare to what I posted above. It's still not perfect, but it's soo much more healthy and weed free than what it was. And all I do is mow, trim and edge. Weiss does all the heavy lifting. :D

Yes those were.

Later in the season, I never experienced really heavy browning (the Elgin will more than the WeGo lawn), just more that it doesn't grow. It still stays pretty weed free. There was a point in the hotter parts of July/August this past year, where I don't think I mowed for 3 weeks here in Elgin. The other yard, I still had to though.

So, I used to water heavily (at night), until I started getting those water bills. So last season, I didn't water at all. Then we went through that hot/dry stretch and while it lost it's green, it didn't go scorched earth and again, no weeds took over (as weeds grow no matter what). I just scaled back mowing.
