Found out my Grandpa in law is downsizing his house so I am inheriting this bad boy. Will have to tow it home from connecticut later this summer.
That is one CLEAN unit. You sure he cut grass with that thing? :s00ls:

Picked up this LA 165 from a lumberyard I do a lot of business with for $300. It needed the steering replaced.

It had 1 gray replacement wheel on it and it needed a battery as it's been sitting for a couple years. It's pretty clear this thing has not been greased much. The deck spindles have some slop in them, and the front wheels/spindles have some play as well. Oh well, at least parts are cheap and it seems to run good on 2 year old gas.

It needs a new belt yet, and someone put a dinky little c-clip on the wheel I painted, so that will need to be replaced.
