This has been driving me nuts ever since we moved in. The side of my house the gutters always get filled with leaves and the water just sits here and gets all muddy.
My back is beyond the point of me digging it up by hand. Not sure what someone would charge to do something here either.
About ready to just buy 20 pounds of pea gravel and pour it on top.
Any thoughts on that or what else I can do or what I would expect to pay someone to do something?

I want to put the garbage cans here, and roll the lawn mower from front to back yard. That's about it, nothing fancy.

Thoughts, ideas, suggestions?

I would love concrete but just too much money. Blacktop the guy quoted me $1500. While I would love to do blacktop the entire driveway needs to be done so I would just do that all at once but it's upwards of $5k+.
As of this week the house has new siding, new gutters will be on this week, getting oversized downspouts, and gutter covers so hopefully the rain won't be much of an issue going forward. When I get the driveway done I want to extend it a bit and I can add a drain going down towards the sidewalk. But I probably won't do that for a few years
