Cutting it with 110 probably helped get a little more flow out of it. I was thinkin headroom on my 450 would end up somewhere around there but it's probably my injectors that would be tapped around there with e. Now that I think about it I've seen 450s with 80s tapped around 6 and a half on ls stuff but that's of course without me actually looking it up to see where it should actually be. Hell cat pump seems to really be the move on stuff anymore though unless a guy wanted to spend money on the high end spur gear stuff

+1 on the id's for sure. It's so much easier to dial in high end injectors and not have to worry about having inconsistent flow rates. I'm about to the point where I don't even wanna mess with dekas anymore unless they come flow tested with a printout to prove it. And if I hear ebay and injectors in the same sentence I'm automatically out.

136 I think at the 52 the TR is set to.

Nowadays they just don't get the workout they used to since it's on the 9 lb spring. Probably still makes 400 wheel
That's about where I'm ballparking mine at the moment off the last data i got with it. Probably a little shy but its a good bit more than what it was when it was low 300s

I really think the modded fms 35 that are 55s I have on my 383 are part of the reason it never ran right.

I mean I'm not sayin I'm probably ever gonna be a guy for goin by the numbers. But if you can sort 6 out of the 8 that are pretty close I'd say find a sweet spot in the flow rates and send it
I'm thinking go to something more modern. Turbocharged400sbc says they suck compared to Dekas so I'll probably seek a set out.

I would just make sure you get quality dekas and you'd be good. I've gotten sketch ones from even zzp. FIC sells them flowmatched with paperwork and zzp admittedly doesn't test them they just say they're "close enough"

It's all fun and games til it doesn't wanna idle and chips a piston lol

I did a test. I don't think I missed any intake plugs. The throttle bubble is pretty stiff, but the valve cover balloon doesn't even show a hint of disturbance. It may be possible that my blow gun doesn't flow enough air to pressurize the crankcase though. I might need to try the vacuum pump.

Edit: I tried vacuum. It sucked the throttle bubble right in, but had no effect on the valve cover bubble. Test still passes.

I recognize that if the leak is small enough, neither of these tests are likely to work. I was expecting a pretty gross leak if I forgot to plug something.
