The Strictly Performance car used to run a KB and I believe it was a 200 shot of Nitrous. It ran 9s. Not sure what kit they used.

I honestly thought KB + all the supporting mods alone would be enough to run 9s with a good driving!

The real question you should be asking is how much Octane are you running

Maybe the newer, larger KBs if you take enough weight out of the car. 9s are hard.

Mike Koval went 9s with just a 2.2L on boost alone....granted his car weighed 3300lbs, but he did it with nontheless.

Anything is possible... Just not real likely or often repeated.

The car is gutted, and im runnin 110 octane most of the time on a kb 2.6

There you go, dropping weight is a little less wear and tear on the old drive train... Some weight loss is free ($0), while other weight reduction is merely switching to performance parts.

I know, No Shit Sherlock...
