Making this entire show ultimately about her was such a massive mistake. Boyd's sendoff was a slap in the face to the fans. 100%. I mean the whole season was about GET BOYD, and it ends with that. Disgusting.

This whole season was a disservice to the fans. This makes me more sad than the show actually ending.

Edit: Well, heres hoping this final scene helps out.
